George Nimmo

George Nimmo, one of TRC’s co-owners, has been impacting the music education community for over 15 years as an educator, tour operator, and more. George currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Student & Youth Travel Association (SYTA) and served on the SYTA Youth Foundation Board of Trustees from 2023-2025. George has planned student performing arts tours all over the United States and Europe for over 15,000 students, was published in “School Band & Orchestra Magazine,” and has presented at the New Jersey Music Educators Association Conference and Pennsylvania Music Educators Association  conference.

George holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree (Magna cum Laude) with a focus on the trumpet from the University of Delaware and was a band and orchestra director prior to joining the student group travel world in 2013. George is married to his wonderful wife, Kim, a middle school orchestra director, and resides in New Jersey.
