Maury Schulte

With more than 30 years in the travel industry—28 of those leading Tour Resource Consultants—Maury Schulte remains the enthusiastic traveler he was in his youth. After studying music in Kansas, Illinois, and London, he discovered the perfect way to combine his passion for travel and the performing arts, ultimately developing TRC into a successful specialized travel agency.

Maury spent five summers performing in the opera chorus for the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy, and has continued performing as a choral singer for special projects in Ireland, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the Azorean Islands. His TRC Performance Tours have taken ensembles of all ages to nearly every continent.

Maury is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the educational community, designing safe, meaningful, and joy-filled performance tours for youth groups since 1997. With community ensembles, orchestras, and church choirs, he occasionally joins the tour as a tenor, baritone, or timpanist—whichever section needs him most.

Maury lives in Norcross, Georgia with his wife, Melanie—also a singer—and they are eagerly anticipating singing together on tour in Australia in 2026.
