Tessa Boyce

Tessa has built a career out of her two passions: travel and education. Her adventure started in 2010 when she studied abroad in Copenhagen and participated in multiple faculty-led programs across Europe. This experience shaped her worldview and sparked her lifelong commitment to international education.

After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2012 with a degree in International Affairs and French, Tessa jumped straight into the world of study abroad with Tour Resource Consultants. More than a decade later, she’s still crafting one-of-a-kind programs that blend academics with unforgettable travel experiences. In 2022, she became a co-owner of TRC, continuing her mission to make meaningful travel accessible, inspiring, and fun.

Tessa now designs and leads deeply immersive programs across the globe—including her signature educational adventures on Rapa Nui (Easter Island) with world-renowned archaeologist Dr. Terry Hunt, and her beloved “Wines of Italy” journeys that celebrate the country’s culture, cuisine, and landscapes. Creating travel experiences that can’t be replicated is her specialty.

A lifelong nature lover, Tessa is happiest outdoors—whether she’s hut-hiking through the Dolomites or climbing a volcano in Guatemala. She spent years living in San Diego and Santa Barbara before swapping the beach for the mountains and moving back to Colorado to be close to family. Today, Tessa calls Lyons, Colorado home and loves building TRC’s next great adventure.
