George holds a Bachelor of Music Education Degree (Magna cum Laude) with a focus on the trumpet from the University of Delaware and was a band & orchestra director prior to becoming a part of the group travel world. George is also in demand as a freelance trumpet player and has successfully prepared private students for All-State ensembles and college music departments. In his free time, George enjoys spending time in the outdoors – he is an avid hiker and mountaineer, having climbed peaks all over the world, including Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Cayambe (Ecuador), Pico de Orizaba (Mexico), and more. George is married to his wonderful wife, Kim, a middle school orchestra director, and resides in New Jersey.
